Welcome to Teddy Purrs!

We are an indoor and outdoor cattery based in Corfe Mullen, which is in Dorset and between Wimborne and Poole. We started our breeding life with just one breeding cat - a snow spotted Bengal called Cally. Since then our cattery has grown, first from Bengals, then to Russian Blues. During 2008 we will be expanding to include the wonderfully woolly Selkirk Rex and British Shorthairs, and that is where Teddy Purrs comes in! That is our breeding prefix for our woolly babies that look just like purring teddies!

We love all of our cats and they are given the best quality of life, which includes lots of love, the best food, water, comfort and veterinary care. Our kittens are born and raised indoors and are socialised as part of our family. They are used to a large number of other cats of different breeds and temperaments, they are also used to men, women, children and vacuum cleaners! When they leave, at the age of around 13 weeks, they are micro-chipped, litter trained, insured, wormed and registered with either TICA or GCCF. They even come with their own goody bag! Our kittens are available only to indoor homes.

Our working females (queens) spend their working lives living both indoors and in outdoor heated houses with runs. Our working males (studs) spend all of their working lives in very comfortable outdoor heated houses, entertaining ladies,eating and sleeping!
